ACCELERATED 4-HOUR TRAINING // HOW TO USE ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING EFFECTIVELY

FATHOM has designed a technology agnostic curriculum on the practical application of additive technologies to achieve greater results throughout the entire product development process and in to production. This established training program is now available as an accelerated 4-hour session.

  • Learn How to Effectively Approach Design & Manufacturing from an Additive Technology Perspective

  • Examine Freedom of Complexity to Increase Product Possibility by Way of Physics-Based Design

  • Review a Wide Range of Materials, Matured Technologies, & Industry-Specific Application Development

Additive technologies have enabled new realities in manufacturing such as part consolidation, lightweighting, organic geometries, high complexity, faster speeds, mass customization, risk mitigation, higher value problem-solving, lower tooling costs, and even tool-less production.

This one-day training seminar ($300 per person) includes lunch, refreshments, demonstrations, and an additive manufacturing facility tour. All registrations also include a $150 print credit towards one of FATHOM’s (5) in-house 3D printing and additive technology services. Ask a FATHOM expert for further details.

  • KYLE D, PROCESS ENGINEER AT BOEING
“FATHOM provided a great overview of current technologies and applications, more specifically on how topology optimization and lattice structures can greatly improve design while leveraging additive manufacturing.”

  • ETHAN B, MACHINIST AT STRYKER
“I work closely with 3D printing technologies and look to FATHOM on advances in the additive manufacturing industry, as well as how to best use these technologies.”

  • BARRON B, ENGINEER AT REDCLEY LLC
"The folks at FATHOM were fantastic at providing a solid background of the tools, processes, and methodologies for additive manufacturing, with an eye towards moving beyond just prototyping.”

  • SERGI SALDAÑA, MANUFACTURING MANAGER AT IDNEO
“3D printing is greatly increasing the expectations of the manufacturing community. Choosing to host FATHOM’s curriculum on Design For Additive Manufacturing helped us better understand additive technologies, materials, and processes, as well as how to integrate these advancements into our processes today—to keep improving our offerings, speed, and competitiveness.”
