The FATHOM team has come a long way from our modest start in one of the co-founders' garages back in 2008. From getting started in the industry as an exclusive equipment partner of 3D printing equipment by Objet, to distributing Stratasys' industry-leading PolyJet and FDM systems, to adding on two advanced manufacturing production centers to support its customers' prototype fabrication and low-volume production needs. FATHOM now occupies several adjacent warehouse spaces in Oakland, as well as office and production space in Seattle, WA. An announcement about further expansion will be released soon. These are exciting times for the whole FATHOM team!
Rich Stump and Michelle Mihevc, founders and principals at FATHOM shared the company's story with Multimedia Producer Krystal Peak at the San Francisco Business Times. Check out the Q&A on how the company evolved, what the Oakland manufacturing scene is like, what is next in 3D printing, and more. Hot off the presses!
