DIGITAL MATERIALS

Construct hundreds of Digital Materials with a wide range of physical properties, colors and tones. Dual material jetting produces up to 14 material properties in one print job while our most advanced PolyJet system jets three materials to multiply your options.

DIGITAL ABS & ABS2

Available only on select PolyJet 3D Printers, dual- or triple- material jetting can produce photopolymers that simulate a range of durable simulated production plastics. Digital ABS and Digital ABS2 materials create realistic, precise tools and prototypes that are also tough and heat resistant.

DIGITAL ABS & ABS2

High Temperature heat-resistant material simulates the thermal performance of standard plastics and is ideal for thermal testing of static parts. The High Temperature PolyJet photopolymer can be combined with Rubber-like material to create a versatile range of materials with adjustable properties.

TRANSPARENT

With a combination of clarity, dimensional stability and surface smoothness, Transparent PolyJet photopolymer lets you prototype clear and tinted products from eyewear and light covers to medical devices. With the Objet500 Connex3, you can blend clear and color materials for stained-glass-like brilliance.

RIGID OPAQUE

Combining dimensional stability and fine detail, Rigid Opaque materials simulate the appearance of production parts, and are even suitable for rapid tooling. And with the Objet500 Connex3, Rigid Opaque materials come in brilliant colors, from jet black to sunny yellow to shocking magenta, along with hundreds of blended hues.

SIMULATED POLYPROPYLENE

Simulated Polypropylene material is tough, flexible and durable. It enables you to 3D print precision prototypes that look and behave like polypropylene. Rapidly create models to test form, fit and function for snap-fit assemblies, living hinges and durable housings and packaging.

RUBBER-LIKE

With Rubber-like PolyJet photopolymers, you can simulate rubber with different levels of hardness, elongation and tear resistance. Gray, black, white and translucent, Rubber-like material enables you to simulate a very wide variety of finished products, from soft-grip handles to footwear. With Objet500 Connex3, you can add color to the mix for exceptional final-product realism.

BIO-COMPATIBLE

With the Bio-compatible material, you can rapidly prototype medical and dental products including dental delivery trays, surgical orthopedic guides and hearing aids. The medical rapid prototyping materials offer excellent visualization and great dimensional stability.

DENTAL MATERIAL

PolyJet Dental Materials are designed especially for digital dentistry and orthodontic applications, including stone models and aligners. These rigid, opaque materials have a natural-looking peach color and combine accurate detail visualization with high dimensional stability.

ABSplus

Do more with 3D printing. FDM Technology creates 3D printed parts in production-grade thermoplastics, including ABSplus. ABSplus is affordable, so designers and engineers can work iteratively, prototype often and test thoroughly. But it’s also so durable that your concept models and prototypes perform much like the final product.

ABSi

Build translucent prototypes in amber, red and natural color with ABSi and FDM Technology. This material empowers FDM systems build components that allow light to pass through, useful in automotive design. Translucent parts also let you monitor fluid movement, such as in medical-device prototyping.

ABS-M30

ABS-M30 is a production-grade plastic engineered for 3D printing with FDM Technology. It’s the lowest-cost material in the range of thermoplastics that work with Fortus 360mc, 400mc and 900mc 3D Production Systems.This strong, familiar material helps you try out more ideas, test more often and work iteratively, ultimately leading to less risk and better products that go to market faster.

ABS-M30i

ABS-M30i is a biocompatible 3D printing material that lets medical, pharmaceutical and food-packaging engineers and designers produce surgical planning models, tools and fixtures in-house, directly from CAD data.

ABS-ESD7

For applications where a static charge could damage components, impair performance, or cause an explosion, FDM Technology offers ABS-ESD7 static-dissipative thermoplastic. Engineers and designers can use FDM parts confidently to create jigs and fixtures for assembling electronic components. Functional prototypes for fuel storage and delivery products also benefit from static dissipation.

ASA

NYLON

PC

Rapid tooling, built to endure. By building parts in polycarbonate (PC), FDM Technology lets engineers and designers marry the speed and agility of 3D printing with the reliability of the most widely used industrial thermoplastic. With reliable FDM Technology producing strong PC parts in-house, manufacturers in automotive, commercial equipment and other industries gain the agility to seize more opportunities.

PC-ABS

For functional prototyping, tooling and low-volume manufacturing that requires superior impact strength, FDM Technology works with PC-ABS thermoplastic. This material offers the best features of two great FDM thermoplastics: the strength and heat resistance of PC and the flexibility of ABS. PC-ABS also exhibits excellent feature definition and surface finish.

PC-ISO

PC-ISO is a biocompatible thermoplastic that lets medical, pharmaceutical and food-packaging engineers and designers 3D print strong, heat-resistant surgical planning models, tools and fixtures straight from CAD data.

PPSF/PPSU

Performance, tested under fire. For 3D printed parts that can withstand punishing heat and exposure to chemicals, FDM Technology works with PPSF/PPSU high-performance thermoplastic. Produce under-the-hood automotive prototypes, sterilizable medical devices, and tooling for demanding applications in-house with PPSF/PPSU material and FDM 3D printing.

ULTEM 9085

A reputation for reliability. This famously overachieving thermoplastic has well-rounded thermal, mechanical and chemical properties that make it superior in most categories.ULTEM 9085 is an FDM thermoplastic ideal for aerospace, automotive and military applications because of its FST rating, high strength-to-weight ratio and existing certifications. It empowers design and manufacturing engineers to 3D print advanced functional prototypes and end-use parts.
